Path to Decentralization

The Sentiment protocol has been designed with a prioritization of governance minimization. This was done to ensure the protocol can efficiently serve users needs and scale without bureaucratic processes limiting growth.

Eventually Sentiment will decentralize, by creating and distributing a governance token, so key stakeholders can govern future iterations of the protocol.

Governance can decide key improvements, grants, and value accrual. There will be more information on the plan to decentralize and distribute governance tokens after the protocol is sufficiently scaled.
